MRS Back In Action

MRS is glad to be back in action. Our site has been down due to some server issues. Unfortunately, I did not back up the site as much as I should have so I did lose some data. I lost Mod Account users who joined after 3/30/04, News after 3/30/04, All Resume Accounts, our Tools section, our Tutorials section, and the News Monitor.

MRS is now being hosted on a new server that has a really cool feature that makes it much easier to back up this site. I will make more frequent backups in the future.

If you have created an account in the past and you cannot log into your account, try creating the account again. If it will not permit you to create the account send me your account info using our contact form and I will fix the problem. If any other bugs are found on this site please contact me using the contact form.

Transformers Mod Update

The Transformers Mod has an update for us today. They have a kewl new website, along with a new forum right here at Mod Recruiting Services, and some screenshots of Megatron in game. Take a look...

Hello Transformers Mod fans! Welcome to our new site designed and hosted by Red Baron Web Design. This site has many features our old site did not including the ability for you to comment on our updates. We really appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing from you.

Our old forum had a number of problems with it. Some people had trouble signing up others had trouble posting, and it was really a pain. For this reason, we decided to replace the forum with a phpBB forum. Again, it has more features, it’s much more reliable, and it should be easier to moderate. If you have some great ideas for our mod we would love to hear them in our new forum.

Some more great news is that Elektroscience has successfully put the Megatron player model into the mod. Below are some images of Megatron in game.

We are currently looking for some more members. If you are a modeler or skinner and especially if you know how to use the skin modifier, we are looking for you. Please contact us using our contact form.

If you would like to help out the Transformers Mod, swing by their new website and fill out their contact form. If you really want to impress them don't forget to create your free online resume right here at Mod Recruiting Services.

BF:Vietnam WWII Mod Released

The WW2 mod is a partial conversion of the original Battlefield 1942to the updated engine of Battlefield Vietnam. The most popular mapsof the Pacific Theater have been transferred to the new engine. This theater comes to life like never before using the overgrowthand undergrowth that made BFV such a hit. All of the characters, weapons, and vehicles have also been redone to make use of theadvanced BFV rendering engine. The original BF1942 content marriedto the gameplay tweaks introduced in BFV combine to create a wholenew Battlefield experience.

Mortars add a new dimension to the maps, but the biggest additionare the new flame throwers. These are devastating close range anti-infantryweapons, best used to clear structures or block paths with a wallof flame. They are very effective against scout cars, but are considerablyless effective against armored vehicles.

Levels included in the WW2mod:
Invasion of the Philippines
Iwo Jima
Wake Island

The levels contain all the vehicles and weapons included in their BF1942counterparts. All 3 levels are compatible with conquest, single-player, and Co-Op modes.

The WW2 mod is not compatible with Custom Combat.
