Tiberian Aftermath

The Tiberian Aftermath has posted some eye candy of their NOD Tick Tank, GDI Disruptor, and more. Swing by their website and check it out.

Today we have the NOD Tick Tank(Unskinned), modelled by Silenced Fury and coded by Mephistofo. It was originally only going to have one position, but it had too many functions to assign to one player. The driver controls the main cannon, as well as the front spinner and claw, and deploys the burrowing function which allows the tick to create its own cover in exposed areas.

Battlefield Community Announcement

EA's Battlefield: Vietnam website has posted news about the Interstate 04 mod. Check it out.

A and DICE have been following the Interstate teams (aka Total Illusions) for a long time, and today they were kind enough to share some big news with us. There's a lot of cool stuff they're covering today in a news post (see website here here, all of which tie-in to their highly anticipated Battlefield Vietnam mod, Interstate 04. These guys we kind enough to pass on some really great screens of vehicles and environments that are in progress, which we will share below.

On another note, this same team has created quite a gift for the community that we are happy to be able to share here. TI has been working on some video tutorials for Battlefield modders, and after watching the first (which can be downloaded here), we can't wait to see the rest. This is a truly outstanding introduction to modeling using 3DS Max that applies directly to creating assets for a Battlefield mod. Keep an eye out for their continued work.

Bush War

The Bush War mod is looking for help. Have a look.

We'd like to release BUSHWAR 0.35 soon, but it would be cool if we had a dedicated server up and running at the time of release. We need a windows server, because our mod has problems with linux. If you or anybody you know could help us out please contact me. We'd be very grateful and let you run a banner on our site and include you in the credits.
